This year, Mrs. Othmer, our esteemed Holland Band Director celebrated her students and announced, "I am proud to announce that all eight of our band students who applied are receiving a scholarship from Arrowbear Associates. Each of their scholarships is more than $1000!
The students receiving scholarships are:
Wilfredo Calderon, 6th grade, alto sax
Isabelle Salcido, 6th grade, baritone
Marianna Herrera, 7th grade, clarinet
Bryann Revilla, 7th grade, clarinet
Yuan Sison, 7th grade flute
Charlotte Abrego, 7th grade, trombone
Melanie Valle, 7th grade, flute
Nautica Macias, 8th grade, clarinet
This is a 15 year tradition that has sent around 100 students all on scholarship to summer music camp. I am super proud of these 8 students who continue to carry on the Bulldog Band tradition!
