• How long have you been a teacher?  28 yrs (and counting, I love my job!)
• Where did you go to school?  Azusa Pacific University
• What are some of your interests?  Traveling with my family, collecting Latino/Chicano art, gardening, discovering new places and communities, and being involved in literacy initiatives LFLs (Little Free Libraries) in various communities.
• What are some of your educational experiences? Teaching high school (traditional and continuation), 8th grade Honors, ELD, AVID trained, Curriculum adoption committee, Academic leadership Team, Safety Committee team, ELD Committee.
• What are some of your favorite junk foods? Salty & sweet (chocolate-covered pretzels, See's Toffee-ettes, honey-roasted peanuts, etc)
• What is your favorite movie?  Avenger movies
• What is your favorite music group?  U2
• What is something interesting about you?  I once worked as an agricultural worker, picking apples.
