7th & 8th Grade Mathematics Teacher

I grew up in Baldwin Park and always knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I have been teaching mathematics for 23 years with Baldwin Park USD.  I started with Baldwin Park USD right out of high school as a clerk, then I became a bilingual/special education instructional aide for 3 years, from there I moved on to a substitute teacher for a year and eventually reached my goal of becoming a mathematics teacher.

I decided to teach mathematics when I noticed that many people dislike or struggle with learning it.  From that point forward, I have made it my mission to try to make mathematics easier and fun to learn.  

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my girls play competitive softball, running and trying new cooking recipes.
