I’m excited to be part of another great year at BP STEM Academy!

This year, I’ll be teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts, 6th–8th-grade English Language Development, and Advisory 7. This will be my 15th year as a teacher and my 30th year in education—and I’m still having fun!

I'm thrilled to continue as a club advisor, along with another teacher, for both Mahjong and Lego Club. We had a fantastic time last year, and we're looking forward to another year filled with creativity, competition, community events, and field trips.

🌿A Little About ME

When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me doing something I enjoy: reading, watching foreign films with subtitles, building with LEGOs, playing Mahjong, cheering for the Dodgers, or taking care of my many succulents. I also love being outdoors and traveling, especially exploring our beautiful national parks.

My husband and I have been married for 31 years, and we have two grown sons, Mayito and Diego, and a dog named Indiana. 🐶

I feel incredibly fortunate to work with such a wonderful staff and to have the opportunity to teach and support the amazing students of BP STEM Academy.
