Mrs. Bocanegra - English Language Arts & Language Development

Welcome BP Stem Academy students and parents!

For the 2022-2023 school year I teach English Language Arts to both 7th and 8th grade students and English Language Development to 7th graders. I will also have an Advisory 8 class. This will be my eleventh year teaching & my 33rd year in education.

In my spare time, I love to read, watch foreign films with subtitles, play board games with my family, and tend to my many succulents in my backyard garden. I also love being outside and traveling, especially to national parks. My husband and I have been married for 27 years. Together we have two grown sons, Mayito & Diego, and a dog named Indiana.

I am truly honored to work with a great staff to teach our BP STEM Academy students. Let's make this year great!
