RECRUITMENT SCHEDULE
Each January we contact our elementary schools to set up virtual or in person meetings with students and their parents. During the meetings, we present our program and answer questions. We also discuss our deadlines to turn in applications.

January 24-28, 2022 | Make contact with elementary schools and set up appointments |
Month of February 2022 | Visit all elementary schools or hold virtual meetings with students, teachers and parents |
February 28, 2022 | All applications due at BP STEM Academy |
March 1, 2, and 3 | Interviews held in person from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at BP STEM Academy or virtual if unable to attend. |
April 29, 2022 | Acceptance letters will be delivered to elementary schools |
May 6, 2022 | List of AVID students is sent to counselor |
May 13, 2022 | New AVID Council is announced |
