Mr. Nelson - Interim Assistant Principal

Welcome!

 

I am Mr. Nelson.  I have taught and worked for the Baldwin Park Unified School District for 25 years.  I started teaching 4th grade in 1998 at Walnut Elementary School.  Since starting my career, I was married (also in 1998), had 2 children (now 17 and 20), finished my Master's degree in Educational Technology, earned a Tier 1 Administrative Services Credential, taught middle school science and transitioned to a new role supporting students, teachers, and the district as a CTI Coach.  My current role is that of interim assistant principal.  I look forward to supporting your students, their teachers, and the community of BP STEM Academy in becoming an educational beacon in Baldwin Park.
